30-Day Watch Warranty
Watch purchases are completed through eBay and follow the applicable eBay listing's warranty and buyer-protection terms. Vintage variation in timekeeping, winding feel, date operation, power reserve, and cosmetic condition may be expected.
Vintage Watch Condition
Each listing identifies known cosmetic condition, work performed, timekeeping observations, known imperfections, and included strap or bracelet when available. A watch is never described as fully serviced or fully restored unless that specific work has been confirmed. Water resistance is stated only when a specific watch has been properly tested and documented.
Repair Estimates
Photographs and customer descriptions can support an initial estimate, not a final quote. Hidden damage, corrosion, prior work, worn components, and unavailable parts may only become apparent after physical inspection. Burris Time Co. communicates the recommended scope and price before beginning work; no additional paid work is performed without approval.
Repair Terms
Repair requests are reviewed individually before they are accepted. Burris Time Co. may decline work that falls outside its current experience, tools, parts access, or service scope. Do not ship or drop off a watch until Burris Time Co. has confirmed acceptance. A non-refundable $25 diagnostic fee is due for watches mailed in for physical inspection, including if the recommended repair is declined. Vintage watches are evaluated individually; age, wear, corrosion, prior repairs, altered components, and parts availability can affect cost and result. Exact modern timekeeping and water resistance are not guaranteed unless specifically tested and documented.
30-Day Repair Warranty
Completed repair work includes a 30-day limited service warranty from delivery or collection. It covers the specific work performed and parts supplied by Burris Time Co. It excludes unrelated failures, accidental damage, water or moisture damage, magnetic exposure, normal wear, another repair provider’s work, unauthorized opening, and old components not replaced in the approved service. A confirmed workmanship issue is corrected without an additional labor charge.
Privacy
Repair inquiry information, including a shipping-label address when requested, is emailed to Burris Time Co. only to respond to the request and prepare a USPS shipping label. It is not published. Do not send sensitive payment information through the repair inquiry email.
